Kristen Darcy Celebrates Tenth Anniversary of Award-Winning ‘Love & Infertility’ During National Infertility Awareness Week. April 20-26
Available for Media Interviews To Address Emotional Aspects of Infertility
Sandwich, MA, March 2014:
Renowned fertility author and coach Kristen Darcy will be celebrating ‘The Year of Empowering Love” in honor of the tenth anniversary of the publication of her award-winning book, Love and Infertility, during the upcoming National Infertility Awareness Week, April 20-26, 2014. Through her books and fertility coaching services, Ms. Darcy has dedicated her professional career to helping women not only survive, but also thrive during the emotional roller coaster of infertility. The foundation of her work focuses on self-love and the lessons she learned while a patient.
About Love and Infertility
Before Facebook and Twitter were household names and when infertility blogs were few and far between, infertility books based on a patient perspective were very rare. After the success of her first book, Girlfriend to Girlfriend: A Fertility Companion published in 2000, Ms. Darcy was motivated more than ever by her desire to help other women learn from her experience. Based on the concept of "what I know now that I wish I knew then," Darcy wrote her game-changing book Love and Infertility.
Love and Infertility focuses on the importance of sharing and communicating so that a couple can move successfully through fertility treatment without the stress of it becoming all encompassing and overwhelming. Over 15,000 copies of Love and Infertility have been printed since its publication in 2004.
The book is more than a memoir; it is a how-to guide to learning to love yourself again as you ride the roller coaster of family creation. Readers will find honest humor and candid personal accounts, as well as tips, exercises, and rare bits of wisdom to guide them through their fertility challenges.
Love and Infertility was the inaugural recipient of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association's award for Best Book, Coping. It can be purchased at http://www.kristenmagnacca.com/purchase.
